  • The Center at West Park Online (map)

In support and anticipation of the virtual-world-premier of Debra Ann Byrd's multimedia theatrical production BECOMING OTHELLO: A Black Girl’s Journey, The Center at West Park is proud to present a unique panel discussion that brings together three esteemed directors and an award-winning costume designer to discuss the joys and challenges they each encountered while bringing to life Shakespeare's Othello.

Lead by Moderator Mary Alexander Way, Executive Director of Southwest Shakespeare, the evening will feature the uber-talented actor/director/teaching artists Tina Packer, Trezana Beverley, and Lisa Wolpe, and Harlem Shakespeare’s award winning costume designer Gail Cooper-Hecht as panelists for this lively insightful discussion.

All programs are open to the public and free with registration. Additional details regarding how to access the stream will be sent prior to the date and time of the event.
