The Center at West Park presents
a Hamlet Isn’t Dead production
Hamlet
by William Shakespeare
Directed by James Rightmyer Jr.
The play sees Hamlet, prince of Denmark, navigate grief and the tragedy of their father’s death, their mother’s overhasty remarriage, and their crumbling relationship with lover Ophelia. As Hamlet’s life falls apart, they discover hidden truths and machinations in the court, and must wrestle not only with the ruthless new king and cronies, but also their own internal turmoil.
Hamlet is brought to life in this production by not one, but TWO actors at the peak of their craft. Long-time Hamlet Isn’t Dead stalwarts David Andrew Laws and Megan Greener will alternate the roles of Hamlet and Ophelia each performance. Combined with Hamlet Isn’t Dead’s signature stagecraft and live, original music, each show is guaranteed to be a thrilling one-of-a-kind theatrical experience.
