Hamlet Isn't Dead: ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA

  • The Center at West Park, Inc. 165 W 86th Street New York United States (map)

Rome and Egypt are on the precipice of immense change: Rome is about to become the greatest empire of the western world, while Egypt is saying goodbye to the empire it once held.

Rome’s hero, Mark Antony, has fallen head over heels for Egypt's jewel, Cleopatra. With duty calling them both back home, can their forbidden love withstand the personal war brewing between their countries? Or will it be their untimely ends that history remembers most?

Underscored by an 80s soundtrack, Hamlet Isn’t Dead’s Antony and Cleopatra features a gang of pissed off Romans, a clique of Egyptian “mean girls” with rock and roll tendencies, and a Soothsayer that knows way too much. It’s a war between love, duty, and pride that you don’t want to miss!
