THIS IS OUR YOUTH SYNOPSIS

This Is Our Youth is an award-winning play about three New York teenagers navigating a turbulent time in their lives on the Upper West Side. We are grateful to playwright Kenneth Lonergan, who grew up on the Upper West Side, and the original director Mark Brokaw, and cast members Mark Ruffalo and Missy Yager, and to Matt Damon for stepping in for original cast member Josh Hamilton. Their deep commitment to the importance of the Center at West Park is reflected in this performance and their ongoing investment of their time, talent and support.

MISSION

The Center at West Park is dedicated to advancing the spirit of community and social responsibility through creative expression, dialogue, and engagement. Located in a landmark building on New York’s Upper West Side, The Center offers a diverse range of public programs and development of work for artists and individuals of all backgrounds and experiences who wish to contribute to a more inclusive and tolerant community and future.
